TeCFlow - Discover Communities |
| Using TeCFlow, it is possible to uncover hidden Collaborative Knowledge Networks (CKNs) and their component COINs, CLNs, and CINs. Generating interactive communication movies identifies typical communication patterns of COINs, CLNs, and CINs. Each of these types of communities has a distinctive structure; COINs have the strongest small world, scale-free structure. The three TeCFlow snapshots below illustrate how a COIN, a CLN, and a CIN grow over time and become identifiable. The left picture shows the COIN core team becoming clearly recognizable as a red cluster in the center of the community. The middle picture shows the red COIN growing into a red CLN as more red members join the periphery. The right picture shows the last TeCFlow snapshot of the same movie, illustrating the CIN structure of the entire community. |
